Yantai Polaris State-holding Co., Ltd (hereinafter called Yantai Polaris), the owner of trademark “POLARIS”, has developed over 90 years, which can produce almost all kinds of horologe products, such as mechanical clocks, quartz clocks, watches, naval vessel clocks and many special used clocks for tower and street, and relative accessories, etc..
As the leading enterprise in timepiece industry of China, Yantai Polaris’ sales and production amount of mechanical clocks is 60% of the total amount of the nation. Its products have been exported to more than one hundred countries since 1930s and now its annual export sales are about USD100million.
With nearly a century of history, Yantai Polaris has won many honors in and out of China, for example: it is the earliest enterprise that won the National Quality Management Award in the same line in China; acquired the Top Quality Award for many times; be named continuously as the exported famous brand cultivated and developed by Ministry of Business; be chosen as “CHINA TOP BRAND”, etc..
Yantai Polaris Technical Development Center was in the mother batch of the National Enterprise Technical Center. In recent years, it has developed many new products in which 11 items reached the International advanced level and 8 items reached national ones. Among the new products, 5 items obtained Ministry and Province Awards, and 5 gained Appearance Innovation Award on Chinese International Timepiece Show. In 1991, Polaris registered in Madrid International Organization, which covers 30 classes for product and 8 classes for service.
Yantai Polaris is the Star Enterprise of Shandong Province by owning 15 items of patent. It’s also a star in China Timepiece because it is the only one who won the name of the “CHINA TEN WELL-KNOWN TRADEMARK” among the domestic timepiece line.
